Terms and Conditions for BH Styles LTD trading as Rita Rusk International

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to the use of the services provided by BH Styles LTD trading as Rita Rusk International ("we," "us," "our") at our premises and through our website, www.ritarusk-international.co.uk. By booking and using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services Provided

We offer a range of salon services, including but not limited to:

  • Hair styling

  • Hair colouring

  • Hair cutting

All services are provided by our trained and experienced professionals.

2. Payment Terms

In-Person Payments: Payments are typically made in full after the service is completed.

Deposits: For certain appointments, we may require a deposit. You will be informed at the time of booking if a deposit is required.

Booking Deposits and Cancellation Fees: Where a booking deposit or cancellation fee applies, we reserve the right to collect payment using the payment method provided at the time of booking or to require payment before accepting any future appointments.

Online Payments: Where applicable, payments can be made online through secure payment processors.

If payment is not received as required, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel services.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Hair Salon Cancellation Policy
We value your time and appreciate you valuing ours. As our appointments are reserved especially for you, late cancellations and missed appointments can have a significant impact on our business.

Cancellation Notice
We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Late Cancellations
Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service price. This allows us to recover some of the time that could otherwise have been offered to another client.

Emergencies
We understand that genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen. In these situations, we will consider each case individually and may waive the cancellation fee at our discretion.

Repeated Late Cancellations
While we appreciate that unexpected situations arise, repeated late cancellations or missed appointments without a genuine emergency may result in a cancellation fee being applied, even if a fee has previously been waived. Clients who repeatedly cancel at short notice may also be asked to pay a booking deposit for future appointments or, in some cases, may no longer be able to book appointments with us.

Our aim is to be fair and understanding while protecting the time of our team and respecting other clients who may have wanted the appointment.

Refunds
Refunds are not provided for completed services unless a specific issue arises that is acknowledged by our team.

4. Client Responsibilities

By booking a service with us, you agree to the following:

Provide Accurate Information

Ensure that all information provided during the booking process (e.g. contact details) is accurate and up to date.

Attend Appointments on Time

Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are late, we may not be able to accommodate the full service, and this may result in reduced service time or cancellation.

5. Limitations of Liability

  • We are not responsible for any damage or loss to personal items inside the salon or your vehicle in the car park.

  • We are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

  • While we strive to ensure a high level of service, we are not liable for dissatisfaction due to individual preferences that differ from the final outcome of a service.

6. Intellectual Property

All content and materials provided on our website and within the salon are the property of BH Styles LTD. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without our express permission.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Scottish law. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
